overheating with civic half rad

iam heating up under boost about 3/4 and cools off a little bit. my fans hardwired so i know its on. running a jcr fmic

Sounds like you have a bad head gasket.

i just took it out for another test drive it never went past the 1/2 way mark is that normal? i really didnt get on it totaly

what car do you drive? on my ef it sits at 1/3, but on the eg its just a hare over 1/2

my turbo b16 stays right at 1/3 with an eg 1/2 rad. even when i do a full run at WOT, all i have different is a 800 cfm fan thats hardwired and runs all the time...

My FMIC blocks my rad and in the summer the car gets real hot, it's not your HG most likely.
