Default overheating

I checked everything : timing is set, coolant, changed water pump, put del sol vtec radiator, compression still good all around (170), and bought a flexlite fan(constantly running). Went home from work , about 14 miles away, and when i got home temp begins to rise. I pull back out and drive around . temp goes down real quick when rpm chills anywhere over 3k. I go back home and let car idle. Temp begins to rise slowly and so i rev the engine over 3k and temp bigins to go down. I dont know what else to do but to pull the headgasket. oh yeah and there is no sign of coolant and oil mixing what so ever. Ide' really appreciate the suggestions.

Set up: stock crx w/d16y8, msd, msd rpm vtec activator, fuel reg, pm6(turboedit), 255hp walbro fuel pump, TDO4L wrx turbo w/ wrx intercooler, 450cc DSM. 10lbs of boost

1. Faulty thermostat.
2. Insufficient coolant in the system. Air bubbles will make the radiator appears to be full of coolant when it's not.
3. Radiator cap not maintaining proper pressure.

did all that and it's still overheating when ever i drive for 1 hour. Temp goes up when i stop and when ever i rev the motor to about 3.5k the temp begins to lower. PLease help!!!!

same ---- for me, i need to rev only to like 2.5k or 2k though...Im starting to belive its a really sneaky blown gasket....why does it drop when we rev? :1

Try another temperature sending switch. It's a switch with one wire connected to it and should be located below the distributor.

mine was doing the same thing, the intercooler is blocking the air flow to the radiator.
I took my intercooler off, and it stopped doing it. What I did was put an electric water pump on the car and removed the thermostat completely, and it is fine now. (95 honda accord t3/04e) the reason it goes down when you rev it to 3.5K is because the water pump is moving more water and the engine is not under load. when you are driving the engine is creating more heat than the radiator can release. so you need more air flow, or a lot more water flow to fix the problem. also don't use plain water, it has a lower boiling point than antifreeze, therefore you loose more coolant to your over-flow tank. also make sure your radiator is clean, if the inside is clogged water can't sufficiantly flow, or if it has a lot of bugs in the front or if a lot of the fins are bent it will prevent air flow thru the radiator. hhmmmmm........ I already changed the temp sensor and the fan is blowing the correct way ( towards the engine ). Should I remove my intercooler cuz it's right in front of the rad. I dont have a huge intercooler, it's just a wrx intercooler. HHHaaaaaaaaaa..... Im losing hope in my set up. where can i get one of those electronic water pumps and how much is it?? Thanks for the Help!!!

Its probably something stupid, go through it all again. You sure there's no air in the coolant system? new rad cap?

here is an example of the type of pump that can be used. they can be found cheaper. I actually ran across one at a flea market for 40.00 bucks. You don't have to disable the factory pump, just put this one in line (pumping the right dir) and it should help tremendously.
