Default overheating

for the past week i cant find out y my car is over heating i got a new thermostat and i even took it out and i know my radiator is not bad and there is no leak anywhere and my overflow tank keeps feeling up. please help

Mine was doing that, sure your radiator is full ? And is your fan turning on??

i just put a new headgasket on it and it still overheating

try a new rad cap, if it wont hold pressure it will fill the tank and heat up.

oh and another thing is when i floor it my temp gauge goin up real fast then when i let off it gos back down to normal temp

hmmmm i wonder hmmm......DETONATION!!! try retarding your ignition see if that will help
