for the past week i cant find out y my car is over heating i got a new thermostat and i even took it out and i know my radiator is not bad and there is no leak anywhere and my overflow tank keeps feeling up. please help

 

oh my car is a civic d16 turbo

 

well its kinda hard to help you. you did not mention if you have just did any mods or what the hell you drive

yep thats the headgasket for sure

 

Mine was doing that, sure your radiator is full ? And is your fan turning on??

 

i just put a new headgasket on it and it still overheating

 

try a new rad cap, if it wont hold pressure it will fill the tank and heat up.

 

oh and another thing is when i floor it my temp gauge goin up real fast then when i let off it gos back down to normal temp

 

hmmmm i wonder hmmm......DETONATION!!! try retarding your ignition see if that will help
