I understand it smoking off like fluids and stuff that got on it,I just fixed my leaky water line so im sure a bit of coolant was left on the turbo after draining my coolant, but it was really hot...like immediately after i started the car...didnt know turbo's were supposed to get that hot?? ???

Alright, I just found out that the guy that wired my ecu used an obd conversion that the check engine light doesnt even work on...so i dont know if im throwing codes or not now. All i know is im runnin pig rich, should i just retard my timing and see if that fixes it?

i wouldnt worry about the smoke. and on the comment on the rich part...someone else is gonna have to chime in on that. |

buring oil off the turbo when it heats up... all the grease and oil from your grungy hands.

I figured out the heating problem, i peiced together that it only overheated when i was pulled over, So I checked my fan, and sure enough it wasnt coming on. So i hard wired my fan to my rear window defrost switch :P So im pretty sure that problem is solved. I also let the car run through all the smoke that was comin off the manifold..and its no longer smoking ;D
