Overboosting Light
hey guys,
Aside from the blitz dual turbo timer, does anyone know of a simple device that'll let you know when you pass the set max boost? Reason being, I didn't end up getting the blitz turbo timer and i already have a boost gauge. I'm paranoid and wanted to be able to know if I overboost so I can let off the gas immediately. Saved me one in my civic.

Did you ever see the episode of MacGyver where he attached wires to each hand of a clock, so that when they touched it ingited some explosives?
You could try the same thing with your boost gauge, wire a pin to your overboosting limit and the other to your needle
Seriously though, if you're good with electronics you could make a device that turns on (Makes a noise, lights up) when it sees a certain voltage, and hook it up to your map sensor.

boost limiter wins everytime.
even with an ecu controlled boost limiter, ive seen at 15psi limiter hit about 22psi before it kicked in enough to get it down.
i seriously doubt your foot is faster than a boost cut.

You could use a hobbs switch and use it to cut ignition at a adjustable boost level. I've got a few I bought from eGay for around $20 for the pair. they come in "ranges" 1-4psi, 5-15psi, and theres one above that too I think. they have got 3 terminals on them so you can have it turn somthing on, or off, depending oh which terminals you are using. I was thinking of doing somthing similar on my car.
