old school muscle/twin turbo?
 
was up yaw?? noob hear first post....anyways i have a lil honda civ thats my fuel economic car blablabla not my question today ....and i have an old 72 plymouth w/ a 360 i just droped in(9.0 copm , 750 cfm 4bbl carb , torquer high rise mani, mopar electronic ign convershion few other goodies). has anyone in here ever tried to twin turbo the old carburated v8's?? can u do this w/ a carb safely or is fuel inj. nessary ?? problems i might run into?? any info or redirection to another site/post would be great. thanks

cadracer has a sbc with a single turbo that jeff (abaz) helped him with, it is still carbed (blowthrough). Good luck

are the ports on the exhaust the same way upside down? i know with mustangs, the guys usually use shorty headers and flip them so the point up and forward. cut the collector, then weld turbo flanges. two of the tbird turbos seem to do fine.

I modified the carb myself. it isn't that difficult if you know what to do.

yup that's the most common way (and what i plan on doing), and yeah u can turbo carbs, there's a lot of carbed (blowthrough) stangs running low 10's etc most people use a K&N carb hat over the carb and i've seen it on carbed cars in the 10's and it's relatively cheap $100 , gl
