i was wondering if anyone has done anything similar to this setup, i wanted to take a crack at it with a few modifications... obviously the turbo behind the engine, but having a water/air intercooler, running between the turbo and intake straight from behind, throw in a BOV somewhere in there but as i was saying anyone have a similar setup?? also curious about peoples experience with water/air intercoolers, nothing controversial just experiences with them...

Yeah it was for the old school 1st gen CRX, it wasn't intercooled so could probably only run 4-5 psi safely...

That is awesome... i remember some guy in this forum triyng to do that setup in his car but i think never do it.

However, i like the idea to make that on my next setup.

I saw one of these kits for sale on ebay once like 5 years ago. If i would of had money back then i would of bought it no doubt. I also wanted to try this kind of setup as well maybe on a future project car though.

why not do a conventional turbo setup instead of spending more money for less?

Thats pretty cool, didn't know they made one, or tried to.

how so? i might end up spending a little more for a water/air intercooler setup but i'd have less resistance and piping from the turbo to the intake... i hope you weren't referring to me actually purchasing this turbo kit... that's just ridiculous, i probably have a better chance of getting my hands on a JDM NSX before i could get this turbo!! lol i'm no turbo expert don't get me wrong i've read through all the turbo faq's, it's a bit of a pain because a lot of the links that don't work anymore and pictures are always so much easier to understand... but from my understanding the shorter the path with fewer bends help make a better boost...

Thanks!! i'm in the process of searching for an old skool rex to do this setup on... i really only want to do this in that car, so it might be a while til this is done, i've been collecting parts for this car...
