Default OK. I am going to do it. 2000 Civic Si HMT....

So I am gonna dive in here.

1. For fuel, till I get it tuned! Can I use 1G DSM injectors with a ballast box and a FMU?
2. I want it low key so I am thinking of a sidemount IC from a Supra MKIV (flows very well and is a bar and plate style isnt it?)
3. I will run low boost (say 6-7 psi) and it will be my daily.

Turbo will be a T3 (dont know specs) off a Saab 9-3 (2.0 liter I think it is), with a custom DP (weird flange), 2.5 inch exhaust, dont know what kind of manifold, with 2.5 inch charge pipes. Stealthmode lines, etc....

Goal:

Quick spool and decent power (maybe 200 at the wheels all said and done)

Suggestions?

B16A2 stock motor that came with it. Only ~43K miles.

I know that a SMIC is not a popular choice. But I figure Toyota put it in a 320HP stock car it can:

1. Flow more than enough for my needs
2. Get more than enough air to satisfy my "lofty" power goal.
3. Looks stealthy as all hell

A quick question though. I read the FAQ on oil lines and I see how too much oil pressure is bad for the turbo. Any link or part I should purchase to lower the
pressure (prefer something already set to a low pressure like a restrictor you place
in line with the oil feed line).

Also, for the water cooled aspect of the turbo, can I use the heater hose lines? Will that be ok?

TIA

just using a -3an steal braided oil line should restrict the oil pressure to where it needs to be. And you could use the heater hoses for the water cooling but most people only hook up the oil lines and just leave the water cooling alone.

It's best if you use the stock injectors with the FMU.

I used fuel lines for .70$ a foot for my water lines, works ****. Just get the cheapest lines...

I can use my stock injectors with a FMU? What FMU should I go with? 10:1 or 12:1?

Why can I use the stockers? Is it because they are a good size? Or because I dont have such a lofty goal? Read: What is the most safe boost I can use them at?

TIA
