yes u can run it just on oil. but the water prolongs bearing life, if you have the turbo on your car for a long time :P

u can use brass NPT plug's, from any auto parts store.

I've been told that only running oil is good up to 5 or 6psi or so...why would you do that when it's so easy to run water through the thing

Hook up the water lines, it makes the turbo last longer and it's not that hard. You have to hook the oil line up anyway, you should just do it all at once.

tap into the water lines running from the back of the head/intake mani to throttlebody, I'd go after the throttle body on the way back to the mani. All it is, is two hoses, one from the tb to the turbo, then another from turbo back to manifold. Lines connect to back passenger side of mani. Run em over the top, or around the side. I've been told to drill 2-3 small holes in thermostat, for constant water flow. Use high pressure, high heat hose.

use heater hose.. cheap ----... 6ft for $7.... all the water system costed me $30 for all fittings etc...well worth the money...
