Oil sensor at fed source, can you leave it out?
 

Simple question,
i'm sure your aware that there is that oil sensor
where you tap the block for oil feed lines.

now I noticed most people put a T there so that the sensor
can be left in place, but I'm wondering..
would be possible/safe for me to just leave the sensor out completely, and(at least for now) not even worry about the T's?

That would save me alot of money and effort.
cuz i've already got my oil feed line, and a fitting on each end of it, one for the turbo,
and the other is a ANtopipe fitting.

not sure if it goes to NPT or BSPT.. if its bspt then I actually wouldnt have to buy ANYTHING else to hook it up!

if you leave it out your oil light will be permanently on which isnt good, say for example you are leaking oil out your return line and you dont notice, you will run out of oil and you wont find out till your ---- seizes up. Its not difficult or expensive to buy the T and an adaptor, if you are there putting the oil line in you may as well do it right so you only have to go there once cos its a pain in the ass

Actually, I left mine out and the light is not on all the time. I hooked up an oil press. guage in it's place and let the factory plug disconnected. You'll be fine.
