Default oil pressure to turbo

What is the minimum pressure that a turbo needs so it will not melt together?

i have heard 30 psi, but just as long as it has oil u should be fine. i doupt im getting that to my turbo and i have no probs. just after u get done running it hard give ur car a minute or two to pump some fresh oil threw ur turbo.

my turbo sees about 5psi at warm idle and 30 at warm wot. been that way for a long time now with no problems at all. still no shaft play at all. just because the pressure is low doesnt mean theres not oil being pured all over it at idle. and if you have a larger turbo, odds are, its not even spinning at idle.

I have a hard time believing that even a large turbo wouldn't be spinning at idle.
