oil pressure on turbo

what is the highest amount of oil pressure u can have in the feed line into the turbo???...i dont know but mine gets to about 70 psi in vtec. could anybody tell me whats the highest amount of pressure i can get. or should i get a needle valve when im going to boost??..thanks

the needle valve isnt really about pressure. its about amount. i.e. size of the feed line.

-4 or -3 an act as a regulator on the pressure. most people seem to have good luck with either.

oh ic ic...well i guess the needle valve just slows down the flow that goes into the turbo but wouldnt that create more pressure??

Well, it *may* create more pressure on oil coming into engine parts.. but lessens pressure coming to turbo itself - and this is waht's all about.
Luckily, I dont have such problems as my turbo ain't smoking :)
