Oil pressure sensor
Im in the middle of my acclude turbo project and I cant figure out the oil pressure sensor, how do you take it off, theres a rubber boot on it with a flat spot on one side of the boot... I looked alot of places online and here and in the haynes manual but it doesnt say how to take it off... is there a clip you just pull or twist off to get to the bolt onto the block? please let me know, im pullin an all nighter on it, lata
you just slide off the black, rubber boot around the sensor that sheilds it from dirt and crap. slide it up the harness after carefully sliding it off from around the sensor, then there will be a small plastic 'clip' that clicks onto the oil P sensor. Just carefully unclip it from the sensor, then just get the right size socket and pull out the sensor if you need to, Hope this helps
Not sure if it's different on a Prelude...er Accord... But I know the ones I've done, the boot just pulls off, you unplug the 1 wire connector and I just used an adjustable wrench to remove the sensor.
