well your pressure sensor is broken now and you need another one, unless you can get someway to put that connector back in. I broke mine its not that big of a deal pocketed another one from a junkyard. First you disconnect the wire and use a 24mm deep socket and turn it to the left or counter clockwise to loosen it and done. You must've thought you can just pull it out haha j/p

i'm still amazed that he was trying to remove it with the wire still intact

Re:oil pressure sender

the oil light will be on? i started it with the wire not connected 2 the sender and there were no lights on. no oil or check engine. maybe when i take it out i dont know but why would that make a diffrence if its out. if the wire isnt connected it cant read anything so wouldnt it be on with the wire off.

Re:oil pressure sender

it just pulls off. i'm still trying 2 figure out this oil light thing cause mine isnt on with the wire off the sender. i could care less if it comes on but i think its weird that its not on with the wire off

not that i don't believe you, but didn't you break yours? can anyone confirm that it just "pulls" off?

Re:oil pressure sender

just dont pull on the wire itself, pull on the connector if i remember it should come right off....and the light wont be on with it unhooked :P

yes, it just pulls right off. There is usually a rubber boot over the connector. Pull the boot off, then pull the connector off.

yeah it just pulls off. Im guessing you still have the oil filter on if you can't see anything. if it's time to change the oil too then just take it off and make life easy. You might want to teflon tape it when you put it back too just in case.

actually, i just have a tight ass fit in my engine bay, being that its an accord. it was a pain in the ass fitting the "t" in there, because i've never taken off the sender before. i was too afraid i would break it, so i left the wire on. with the oil filter on, it would be virtually invisible in any car.
