you'd have to Tee off the T

otherwise you have no where to put ur sensor. Im assuming we are talking about a honda here?

tee off the turbo feed line, that's how mine is set up. it goes....

block--->needle valve---->guage----->elbow-----> turbo

Uhm. I think that needle valve may give u inaccurate readings on the gauge. Tuner toys fittings now are not a T-fitting rather a Cross fitting. they have two oil take off ports.

I want to know the pressure after the needle valve, If I was a baller I'd have one before and one after the valve, but it seems like it'd be important to know how much i'm pinching off.

kinda like this dru?

http://www.dangerouscrewcustoms.com/...n/DSC01281.JPG

the way it goes is... block ---> Tee ---> OEM oil pres sensor ---> oil temp ---> autometer oil pres (before needle valve) ---> needle valve ---> mechanical oil pressure (after needle valve) ---> turbo

maybe that will help someone hehe

Re:oil pressure gauge

Mechanical oil pressure gauges are dangerous to have in the car. I know someone who got sprayed with hot oil when his hose decided to rupture. Wasn't pretty. Here is what I'm doing. I got an electronic unit from ebay and am just hooking up a simple voltage compare circuit to turn on the gauge light when the pressure is below let's say 5 PSI.

Other than that, just go to a hydraulic store and get an oil manifold. It's basically a bar with 3 threaded fittings in it. Then get a male to male for your block.

but don't hang that thing off the back of the block otherwise it can break off.. dont ask me how I know this.

Make sure that you get the proper fitting that screws into the block.... Its not NPT, its like BPST or BSPT or something to NPT....
