i was wondering if 80psi at idle is to much?i think so but im still new. yea i did read the FAQ and it said 25-30 but what could it be fucked up gauge or really that high of press?i bought a cheap oil gauge figured it didnt need a good one.

 

When are you idling at 80 psi? warm or cold engine?

 

cold when i first start i haveny let it run long yet so it might go down. i was also thinking maybe its because the intercooler and piping arent on yet

 

thats normal, cuz it's idling @ 2k

FULL warm, idle around 600-900 oil psi should be 20-30psi.

 

Yeah your fine then......cold start mine idles at 80 psi but when warm its at about 15 psi.
