Oil Line? One More Question.
Hello. I am using a RHB5 Turbo. The oil Inlet and outlets are weird. I have a question. the inlet line on top. Has a big nipple like 1/2 inch. The one on the bottom is tiny like the size of a piece of brake line. Isnt that going to restrict the oil flow? Like wont alot go in real fast and not alot come out causing a backup? Also can I use a piece of rubber house to connect it all.?

Re:Oil Line?
do you have them mixed up
|
Re:Oil Line?
No. The coolant lines are the same size. I may be mixing uo wich one is the inlet and wich is the outlet but I figured the one on top runing down would be the inlet and the one coming out the bottom running ouot would be the outlet. The one on top is fat and the one on bottom is skinny.

Re:Oil Line?
Your inlet is a m10x1.5 if that helps. :-\

Re:Oil Line?
Lol...The wrx turbo is oyut almost upside down in the engine bay.....that's why the oil feed hole seems to be downward...for the WRX that is up...you need to rotate the centersection.

Re:Oil Line?
That would explain alot. Here is a picture of what I mean
http://www.freewebs.com/civicdx/ That was why the muffler pipe was bent up instead of down. Do you know what year wrx it came from? I need a gasket. Also how do you rotate the center section? |
Re:Oil Line? One More Question.
Ok so I rotated everything. Can I also rotate the compressor housing so the pipes face downward? And then I could use my internal wastegate. Can I just loosen thoose bolts and turn it? It has the same setup as the housing did.
