Default Oil line off firewall

Those with firewall oil set up, what do you use to attach the T to the firewall? I'm looking for ideas.

Hmm, lets think about it.. is there a "proper way" to mount a brass T to a firewall? hehe, Not sure but you could use some loop straps and put them on your lines and drill them into your firewall. But the brass unit still might rattle around.

I'm still thinking some nice zip ties would be just fine, ---- I know lots of people on this website who use zipties to mount intercoolers/radiators and front bumpers.

I zip tie pretty much evrything...depending on what it is and weight which is the deciding factor on how many I use. My fmic is held on by 4 zipties right now.

Just JB Weld ---- together, get it to hold with that. It's a great ziptie alternative!

I agree. ZIP TIES. They are pretty damn permanent. Try ripping it off from your brake and fuel lines in the back. Sucker wont come off. Doesnt rattle or NOTHING. In my book, its permanently stuck in the back.

I picked up a little rubber clamp and machine screw from Home Depot... Drilled a small hole and screwed it in. You can find stuff like that in the electrical or plumbing section.

I'm also running a mech oil gauge but with a copper wire instead of the nylon. I don't remember why I decided to go with this instead of the electrical but so far it's been good*crosses fingers*.
