Re:Oil line install problem
theres only a single wire going to that sensor anyways, you can and inside that boot is a platic connection, you cant really mess it up, just cut the boot with a straight razor

Re:Oil line install problem
Yea, once you cut it, how the hell do you plan on getting up there and soldering that ----? BTW, i ------- hate soldering

Re:Oil line install problem
solder what...they are talking about cutting the boot, not the wire

to get the wire off. steve |
Re:Oil line install problem
the wire plugs in to the oil pressure sensor with a little male/female plug action. just yank it out, it unplugs.

Re:Oil line install problem
Sometimes those connectors are on the oil pressure sensor very tight, do as greddy crx said, wiggle it side to side and just pull hard. Actually just grab the end of the wire and pull, it usually comes off. I never run the ------- boot cover anyways, it's just there so no corrison gets on the connector. If you do break it off, just get a blue butt-connector and connect one end, and the other end goes right in the sensor no problem.
