Oil line install problem

Okay, so im trying to finish up my project and the rubber "boot" on the oil pressure sender will not come off. I have really no room to work in that area so i cant even get a screw driver under there to pry at it or anything. pulling on it doesnt work......i dont want to rip the wire out and ---- the connection....any help would be appreciated

i know this probably isnt good, but i cut the boot off, and then you can get to the connection, but once i got everything back together i put some sealeant on the boot where i cut itand hopefully i wont have a problem with it, donno yet, going to try to finish up my car this w/e

Sometimes those connectors are on the oil pressure sensor very tight, do as greddy crx said, wiggle it side to side and just pull hard. Actually just grab the end of the wire and pull, it usually comes off. I never run the ------- boot cover anyways, it's just there so no corrison gets on the connector. If you do break it off, just get a blue butt-connector and connect one end, and the other end goes right in the sensor no problem.
