oil feed line help
 
can i run the turbo feed line from the oil ports on the head there are 2 on the side and one in the back above the intake becouse i was running it from the sending unit but the turbo was smoken and blowing oil so i had it rebuilt and the shop that rebuilt it said it was getting to much oil they said to move the oil feed line or restrict it but my buddy runs his feed off the head but that on a b16 please help

somewhere on Honda Tech i've seen reducers for the oil feed line.with one of those you can cut your flow in half.
I'd take a peek there if i was you.

I've never seen anyone run the oil line off the head, but I would assume that there would be about the same amount of pressure throughout the whole motor. If your turbo seals were blown, that would be a reason why it was smoking, but now that it's rebuilt, I couldn't see it smoking because of too high of pressure. Either way, here is the restrictor valve that I sell.

How big are your oil feed lines?

Use -3an and shouldnt have a problem of too much pressure to your turbo. Restrictors scare me :o
