oil feed line on dsm turbo

On the dsm turbo that I got, the guy cut the hard line and just put a rubber line over top and used like 4 o'clamps on it. I'm debating about using a compression fitting attached to a barb fitting and then JB welding it all around to plug up any leaks. Any thoughts on this?

JEff has stated before that he's done it. Then again, I went with the SS braid.. to each his own.

they both work.. the clamp style with the hard line, may not be as pretty, but I guarentee it will hold no problem, we have never had one leak. Just use the correct pressure line. (high pressure) Napa sells 350psi line we use all the time.

Stainless steel lines work great too, but it all comes down to cost factor.
