Oil Feed Line

Ok, Im finally getting ready to finish my project today. But I came across a snag. Where do I get the oil from? I know where to dump it back in the oil pan. But where do I get it from? I have a ZC motor. I was thinking the oil sending unit on the back of the block, but its a bitch to get to. Does anyone know where else? Im assuming that my motor is no different from any other D series also.

Thanks

damn, is there no where else? How do I go about getting to it? should I take off the upper intake (I don't want too)? lol or can I get to it if I take off my oil filter? also, I was going to "t" it and put the OSU on the "t" and then run the rest of the line to the turbo. Is this the right way to do it? Thanks man.

you can tap the front of your block but its gay and stop being a bitch and just tap the pressure unit. It takes 5 minutes

take off the sensor, put in the tee fitting than drink antifreeze.

what if I already drank the antifreeze? Just do the T fitting part? lol I should be able to get this from here. Thanks for the input

I have another question. Does the oil sending unit have one wire or two. Im of course guessing one, but a confirmation would be great. Thanks

If your useing the TunerToys fitting its gonna be a real tight fit. Not TunerToys fault. The oil cooler is bigger on the dohc zc gets in the way. I went with a Golden Eagle sandwich plate that I picked up from TunerToys. Customer Service was great. He did everything in his power to get me my order by when I needed it.

I just went down to my local parts house and got 4 feet of fuel injection line ($19) its good ----. And I got a two sided input to the block and then to the "t". I hope to have this done either tonight or tomorrow! I can't wait!

i just put my oil feed in today on my d16a6 with tuner toys fitting. I took off the 1 wire sensor like what was talked about above! It was pretty snug but i like that cause it will be a less chance of leaks. the only thing is the allen head plug thing that came with the fitting. it didnt seem to tighten to well. I put teflon tape on it but if it leaks i might just put some locktite on it. I took my time and torqued it to 13lbs(what i was told to do by tuner toys) and its seems to be just right. Hopefully no leaks! ;D
