Oil/Coolant Leak
Man having trouble finding my oil leak. Changed my oil today and the turbo looked like it had taken a bath in it. (its also raining so I think some of it was rain mixed in) I also noticed my coolant leaking. So I just tightened up the clamp and it stopped immediatly. As for the oil. I tightened up the clamp on the drain on the turbo side (where oil seems to be coming from). But it doesnt really look like its coming from my drain line. But more like my drain fitting/gasket. So I tightened up that. Seemed to stop but seems like some might still be oozing out. So tomorrow it gets the JB treatment. Just thought I'd share at how gay it is. Drain pipe is from RRE as well as gasket. Dont know why its leaking. :( ;)

Re:Oil/Coolant Leak
did u use thread tape?

Re:Oil/Coolant Leak
Yeah on everything. But the drain is just a barb type pipe that you clamp a hose onto.

Re:Oil/Coolant Leak
I'm still getting some lost coolant. Think its because I used liquid sealant on the barb for the coolant on the turbo instead of teflon tape. Oh well guess I'll fix that when I change my adapter plate. 8)

Re:Oil/Coolant Leak
anybody ever seen clamps that have a decent size? 1 1/2 inch or so that have a thin width? My drain line gets a shitty clamp because the clamp is so big that pulls the clamp down when tigtening and the hose a little.. doesnt clamp great like it should. ;\
