The first 15-20 minutes of starting the car is when the oil pressure is highest. When oil burns, it smokes. If you smell oil, but don't see smoke I'd give it a couple more days to burn off any excess oil that got on your exhaust/manifold/ect. when you did the install/oil change/ ect....

i just installed feb 13, 2005 fresh motor oil 10w-30, 3.7 quarts,...yeah i hope that smells go away because it surely is a strong smell..and of course i'm new to this, i'm just making sure everything run's the way i want it too..even tho i'm only boosting 2 pounds..even though i have an internal wastgauge and try turning the boost up butt on my boost gauge it's still boosting at 2 psi..i'll worrie bout that later..
