What's the best oil to use when your car is turbocharged? right now i'm running castrol 5W30. Is anyone running a thicker oil? I heard from someone that thicker oil should be use is this true?

Mobil 1 Synthetic 10w30 for me too. I tried running Mobil's 15w50 for a while to help stop a smoking turbo but it made my car feel like a slow and fat ---- on really cold mornings.
