oh baby oh baby
went to vancouver on saturday to pick up my friend's latest acquisition...
1990 acura integra LS
JDM B16A (first gen).
small internally gated turbo (not sure of specs)
HKS cast manifold
FMU, three check valves, and the biggest hack job ever.
guy ran it into a trailer hitch on an a-team van lookalike.
we spent a lot of time hand pulling the front end sort of straight.. the ITR rad was toast, as were the two FAL fans. front bumper was shot, and so were the jdm 1 pieces.
got some stock headlights, didn't quite line up, but some bashing took care of that. replacement front bumper broke off after 5 minutes of driving, the zip ties just couldn't handle the stress.
headlights weren't wired up, so driving home in the dark and avoiding the cops that were staring straight at him was quite the ride.
I was proud of my custom hood job. jumping on it a few times gave an unplanned "eyelid" look to the headlights.
intercooler was pooched, and the new rad wouldn't fit with the wastegate, so those came off, and in placement of an intercooler, we ran some ABS piping.
all in all, I'm proud of our work, I'll go take some pictures.
also, I'll be looking for a PS9, if someone wants to give me a deal
