Default OEM mani's

hey guys.. i'm a noob and have searched here and can't find my answer..

does the Hf manifold clear the A/C? i know most of you will say to just rip the ac but its friggin hot here in the summer and i need it. Are there any other OEM/cheap mani's that fit A/C?

Hf will not clear A/C.

Your best/cheapest option will be getting a log manifold that will work with A/C.

you could probably build an adapter plate to make it clear, but it'd be a bitch.

damn... oh well.. so much for the Hf.

since most of ya'll are the voices of experience, which is easier to work with/find, a turbo w/ an internal gate or externally gated ones?

I'm startin to purchase parts for my civic and i want as few problems/ compatability issues as possible.

Well I remember having to grind a little off a bracket to clear my internal wastegate, so a turbo without one might be a little easier to mount, but it's not too big of a deal. If you have the money I would go with an external wastegate, they are a lot more reliable if you plan on boosting more than 10psi.

No.. i'm only plannin for like.. 7-9psi.. for now.. I mistakenly tried to race an ITR the other night... some old man.. totally stock, cept he had all the Type R stickers off. we went from a 70 roll. I was hangin w' him... then he downshifted...

I told him i'd be back to hand him his ***.. now i've gotta follow up...

i'm lookin for ~180-200whp. i'm not wantin to do internals yet..
