OBX T4 top mount & OBX 44mm wastegate opinions/advice
 

sup nigs? I'm trying to get my turbo project on the road but i'm lacking funds lately with tuition, books and bills killing my funds.. so i'm thinking about going the cheap route and picking up the OBX T4 top mount + OBX 44mm wastegate on ebay.. does anyone have experience with these products? the prices are 350 for the manifold and 170 for the wastegate which is the lowest i've seen for either product.. from what i've gathered the HMT crew agrees with the cheap wastegates on ebay, but not the manifolds.. also there's a few guys running this manifold on Honda-No-Tech that say it holds up well.. any advice would be appreciated..

What other pieces of the setup do you have? What motor? What are your goals? $350 seems way too much for anything made by ssac.

I have one of those vband 44mm OBX wastegates and it works great.The topmount i have never tried but i have seen a few on HT running them and didnt really seem to have anyproblems.Really for $350 you could get a good quality log/mini ram but if its a top mount you want then giver and let us know how it holds.

B16A fully built for boost aside from sleeves, T3/T04E 57 trim, sr20det BOV, 2 1/4" charge pipes.. looking to make around 380whp on a street tune.

btw it's not SSAC, it's made by OBX. and it has some good reviews on h-t and those fags are pretty quick to jump on the brand name bandwagon.

Thanks for the input.. I think if I brace the top mount it should last as long as I need it.. my only hesitation is not being able to run my a/c :( (FL heat sux)

btw i realize a T3/T04E isn't made for a T4 flange, but i plan on making holes for it to mount :8

i brought an obx short ram manifold and 38mm wastegate for my 4g64/4g63t galant. the manifold looks pretty cheap and poorly welded insode, but it was only like $120 so i dont care. the wastegate actually looks like its a decent part. i am going to use the shorty ran until i build my own topmount
