obd2 to obd1 probs
alls fine with my obd2 ecu
if i put my p28 with conversion harness (running a stock p28 BIN) in, i have to hit the gas to crank it and then i get a code 14 CEL (IACV) and no a/c (i can hear the compressor kicking on and off over and over) need some pointers here my cars 1998 civic ex d16y8 stock injectors do yall have this? http://img132.exs.cx/img132/2708/obd1.th.jpg jman |

i thought it was supposed to be plug and play? do obd1 iacv's use two or three wires?

obd1 iacv's are 2 wire and so is an obd2 5spd ex, so that doesn't make much sense. take the iacv off and clean it with some break cleaner. where did you get the conversion harness from? check all the pins and wire connection on the harness to make sure something didn't come loose.

my bad i was thinking about my old manifold that had a three wire iacv. it was from the same year and model just auto.
i hope you figure this out because i was thinking about doing the same but i seen two posts just today about obd2-obd1 conversions not working right. |
