obd1 injector harness install...

well, when a put my 450's in many moons ago, i was too cheap to get some obd1 clips, so i mutilated my obd2 clips to make them work ;D well, it pretty much looked like ass, and every now and then, my car would start to run like ----, well, the first place i would look would be at my injector clips and 9 times out of 10, one had popped off (imagine that). well, it just so happens that an obd1 intake manifold with a cut harness ended up in my drive way (seriously, some dude wanted me to do an mpfi swap for him, but changed his mind and said i could have the manifold), well, i decided to take the iniative to clean up my wiring a little bit, here's what i got.....

mutilated obd2 clips with taped up resistors looking like ass......... (it gets worse)

ah yes, very ghetto, just how i like it 8)

the new clips and obd1 harness cover, if you notice in the other pics, my plastic harness cover isn't mounted on the tab where it's suppose to be b/c the gay wiring that i initally did wouldn't quite allow it (note you still see the assness in the back round)

obd1 clips with my stock cover on them, looking better already :D

gotta love engine harness wiring :P i reccomend always soldering your connections when working with your wiring harness, i'm ghetto, but i'm not lazy(yes, those connections are soldered under the tape).

and finally, the end result, much better compared to what i was working with ;)

you don't need them with obd1 clips ::)

;)i put them further down the harness so it didn't look like ass where you could see by the clips. i should have wired in a resistor box instead while i was at it, i guess i'll do that later. those ------ resistors are so damn bulky :P

Shrink tube looks 100x better than electrical tape.

Get some. ;D

i suggest puttin the resistors all stacked together like a "box". ;D

some wire loom and small black zipties will make it look better. i used wire loom to cover up my resistors, after checking to see if they got hot enough to melt the wire loom, i covered the resistors and the wires with wire loom and secured the wire loom with the small black zipties.
