just get a new chip from xeno, couldnt hurt, and you know itll be right to get it running. then i would suggest finding a new tuner

no cel conerted to obd1 ran fine with a virgin p28 sounds more like a engine problem verses electrical

it didnt run fine, just better then with the chip that the guy made for the car, it still ran like ---- tho, just didnt die

ok so that would make me believe that the chip was no good from your tuner....

thats what i thought, the guys a ------- ****** tho, he charged my friend like 200 bucks even though the car ---- out after 20-30 minutes and he couldnt do a full tune, then was too big of a moron to look for blown fuses

make sure he has the right injectors. they could be flooding out. try using some stock obd1 injectors with the stock p28 and see if ti runs any better. not sure what injectos he has, he may need a resistor box or something. you might also want check the tps sensor. was the ef a dx/std that had the mpfi conversion? did they swap the two outside wires on the tps? the last thing you might want to check is the two white wires for the distributor, sometimes when doing conversions people get them mixed up.

and the car was running fine when the tune first started, but after the fuse blew it just ran like ----, on the chipped ecu, that next day

Yea, Rich from that place isn't the smartest kid on the block.

A guy I tuned on the street decided to take his car to the dyno and have them tune it their for max hp.

------ only got 3whp more out of it. There goes $175 out the door.
