86CRXZ6, huh? So you almost-mastered an OBD0 wiring swap into a pre-OBD car? That's pretty good work...

What you need to know is that the ELD is located in the underdash fusebox of any 88+ USDM Honduh. Dig into it and you'll find it, and you can splice it in most anywhere right down to at the ECU plugs. :)

Re: obd0 ecu codes

i have searched and found i really dont need it, but some people have thrown codes with out and didnt perform any difference .
the PG7 i got needs it but my old ZC still ran fine with out it though

well i changed the dizzy and it starts now but for like a second or two at the most and wont turn back on unless i turn the key all the way off.
now what?

Re: obd0 ecu codes

I think you need to give very explicit detail on what your setup is, when the car last ran, what you've done to it, etc. I encourage you to use paragraphs and space things out so that it's easy to read because you need to communicate quite a lot if you want help, and if it's a pain in my ass to sift through what you type I'm going to lose interest... and you're going to have a hard time getting specific cross-OBD wiring information from anyone except me on this or any site.

Not to be a dick, just trying to make sure this is as easy as possible for both of us. :)

Don't forget he tries to be verbally aggressive, but is not too good at it.

Re: obd0 ecu codes

lol.

no, you are not being a dick and atleast you're trying to help.
as for my set up i got a 86 crx with:

d16z6
obd0 ecu (turboedit)
i got obd1 and obd0 dizzy
14b td05h
450's

i tried it with the obd0 dizzy but it wasnt lined up, so the timming was off and didnt know.
then i tried it with the obd1 dizzy and it starts for like a second then it die's.(i know i have to use the obd0 dizzy and can't use the obd1 dizzy)
i tried both ecu's to see the code stuff and the PG7 (20) only throw's the code and not the turboedit ecu.
i'll try it again tomorow since i took it to my buddy's house so the landlord won't tow it whem im at work.
thanks
