Default O2 Sensor on Pressurized Side of Manifold

Is having the 02 sensor on the pressurized side going to hurt it? Or should I plug the hole in my HF manifold and relocate it to my Downpipe w/ a bung?

Well seeing as a turbo spools due the the pressure difference across the turbine the manifold is consider the pressurized side and the dp should (in a perfect world) have no pressure.

Yes the exhaust does have pressure but the manifold sees more. If you boosting 8psi and your exhaust has and Inefficeintcy of 2 psi your manifold has apprx. 10psi in it. Good old math!! But Looking at the pix I see most guy mount it in the manifold for symplicity. and I'm gonna need the space on my DP for the Wideband.

Thanks anyways

The turbo is spun by HEAT energy...not pressure.

How about filling that manifold spot with an EGT probe and welding a bung somewhere else on the DP for the wideband?
