o2 sensor CEL with HF manifold
Hey,
I get CEL while driving after 10 or so minutes. In that time, no boost (or very little) is present. It is always the code 1...o2 sensor, but the thing is...I'm in vacuum when it comes on! So I don’t know if its directly related to boost as it is heat from the turbo. I'm guessing that the o2 sensor can’t handle the heat from the turbo, so it’s getting pissed off. The car continues to run fine. Should I just plug up that hole, and create a spot on the down pipe to put the o2 sensor into? Any other suggestions?
Oh, my setup is 1987 g1Teg (vacuum advance) with a t3 turbo, hf manifold (with adapter plate) and this damn FMU (not for much longer though...I'm getting rid of the vacuum advance in aug! )
thanx in advance
