That is nice that you are going to boost your teg. You kinda left it out there.... I mean what are you doing? what are you going use for turbo etc. Any pics or plan? I wanted to boost every car I had and its a great goal and thought. Enlighten us!

Useless post IMO, get soem info up there so it actually means something and is interesting to read, not just some short sentence telling us what you want to do very generally, I am interested haha.

This is another one of those "talk is free and easier to do" situations.
Get ready for the "I'm gonna" dream sequence...

Default turboing d16

ok i been reading everything about turbocharging my d16z6. right now i'll be turbocharging the stock d16z6 running about 6-7 psi with a t3/t4. now i know thats not a good turbo for that boost but i will be building another motor in the process of getting use to the turbo. anyways i have a question that i been wanting to ask on the tune side of it..if im only running 6-7 psi on the stock motor would i need to get a dyno tuned. or just get a basemap chip for it. its like 500 to tune around the memphis area.so i thought i would just wait until i get the other motor built.need some suggestions and i did read and search and the answer im asking is no where to be found..

Hey there. I boosted my stock Z6 with a DSM Garrett T25. I run the stock wastegate at 8psi all day. It really does well on the motor and the responsiveness is great. I had my stock P28 chipped and tuned with Crome pro for $285. It was done by English Racing in Camas, WA. They are very well known in the DSM world but have a great group of Honda guys too. They could chip you and burn in a baseline map or perhaps a half way decent close tune. Let me know if you want some more info. I posted my build in the Forced Induction thread labeled my first boosted 94 civic ex or something like that. Let me know? Thanks
