srp makes 8.8? mine were 9. anyway, you could even go with stock internals for 15 psi with a good tune...at least for a while

another question...

would you guys trade a d15b2, z6 head, and 150 bucks for a y7 block with srp's and eagle rods, and a y7 head that already has springs and retainers, possibly a cam? The headgasket went for unknown reasons, supposidly the dumbass that put the head on used the orginal headgasket.

Re:noob sleeve question.*punch me in the face*

Depends, if the guy was dumb enough to reuse a headgasket on a built motor, do you think he put in the pistons and rods correctly? But if you've got another motor and some time to check that one out then I'd say go for it.

Re:noob sleeve question.*punch me in the face*

i gotta choose whether to dump all that ---- and 150 into the y7, or just use the b2 and run like 7 psi. With the extra money i can have my exhaust and IC piping done. The car is off the road so i have all the time in the world...

15psi or 7.... ???

get that y7 and rebuilt it! those parts are expensive and your getting a deal on them.

Re:noob sleeve question.*punch me in the face*

i'd say forget the y7 block, sell all the ---- you were going to trade and use the money to buy sum suzuki vitara pistons w/ rings, find a cheap z6 and sum $300 ebay eagle rods and just clean your cylinder head and run 15 psi :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D
