Default noob here....

my brother in law turned me onto this site here..... ive been searching all over the net but cant seem to find anyone thats done what i want to do.... a twin turbo with intercooler and blowoff valves on a 301 poly motor in my 57 plymouth fury.... the motor has just been completely rebuilt and is sitting next to the car waiting for me to finish the frame.... im looking for advice on what to use....

1. should i go with my dual quad intake or trade it for a single 4?

2. what size and type of carb would be best?

3. at 9.5 to 1 compression, what amount of boost would be the best for me?

4. what would be an ideal turbo and intercooler for my motor?

the motor has been redone mostly stock.... it was bored .030 over, but that was just due to cylinder walls and age....
due to the lack of aftermarket parts for these cars a twin turbo setup is my best bet tohop this old girl up.... i want to make her fast..... but i also want to drive her comfortably....
oh yeah.... this is what she'll look like when she's done

I vote for a Holset HX40 or twin 60/63's. IC...go on ebay and find whatever will fit in there cause with the stuff people here turbo...it's not like it really matters what has to get chopped up for it to fit. Now in your case I don't think chopping ---- out of your car would be very ideal. Maybe a really effiecent water to air IC. Guess it just goes to what your looking to spend. Then the carb ----...pffh I can hardly keep my snowblower running and hell I bought a electric lawnmower cause I couldn't keep that thing running right so carbs are like spinach to Popeye for me. :1
