Default Noob Gangbang!!!

First post, so I'll just lay it all out and let you have fun with it.....
This is the set-up that I've come up with--
F23 - Bone Stock
Holset hy35 off late model Dodge - $77 @ pick-a-part
Ebay Special FMIC
38 mm Wastegate - Ebay
DSM BOV mounted within 6" of TB
Homemade MBC
Homemade catch can w/ level sight and drain valve
Homemade Log Mani (schedule 10 SS)
3" SS from Turbo back
3" high-flow cat, mid muffler, and oversized rear muffler (Sleeper)
460cc Injectors
I have a good source for metal pipe and tubing, so I'll be using thin walled aluminum for IC. All mandrel bends(IC & Exhaust).
Of course oil lines, and yes, I know, return goes down
OBD1 ECU (chipped with baseline, to be dyno-tuned upon completion)
I'm also gonna mount Boost and Oil Pressure Guages.
I'll be doing all of the welding myself, so when I do a write-up on the project, I'll have to title it "G-fab F23" or something
I think I'll be able to do it all for under $700.00, which ain't bad for 8-10 psi.

Feel free to give input, that's why I'm posting.

First, FMU's don't do ---- for Ignition, they are just an expensive electronic boost dependent fuel pressure regulator. As I said, I'll be running a chipped and tuned ECU. That is the only way to safely run a turbo.

aren't those turbos internal gated so there would be no use for that wastegate

They are internally gated at 20+psi. I'd like to make more than a few runs before I do a rebuild. 10psi or so is my goal. Unless of course, someone has figured out how to lower the setting on an internal gate without increasing lag. I could use the old foot gate, but I don't trust myself. Or a boost gauge, except to look for spikes.

are you kidding? alot of people ditch the leaky, spiking, and underperforming internal wastegates for external ones. look around at any decent build you will see an external waste gate
