no vtec please HELP

my car runs great with the turbo kit but wont hit vtec for some reason. it hit vtec 1 time in about 300 miles of driving. is it because the turbo is stealing oil pressure. no cels or anything it just doesn't hit vtec.

Re:no vtec please HELP

i know i'm not the smartest guy in the world but i know i'm not a moron. the ecu needs to see 57lbs of oil pressure for vtec to hit with a pr3. that pressure wont hit if the oil is low so that was the first thing i checked.
