No pressure nipple on turbo -- vacuum mani okay for WG?
Like the title says, my turbo doesn't have a pressure nipple, so instead of fabbing one onto my turbo or my IC piping, I was just going to use one of the sources on my GE vacuum manifold. I know this will physically work, but I was worried about spike/lag for the WG to see the pressure on the vacuum manifold compared to a pressure source direct from the turbo. This is probably nothing to worry about, but I just wanted to verify (especially before I drill any extra holes in my vacuum manifold :P) Thanks.

its fine to run it off a vac source coming from your intake...

k, thanks :)
By running it off of the manifold, boost won't be seen by the WG quite as quickly compared to the turbo, correct? |
Re: No pressure nipple on turbo -- vacuum mani okay for WG?
yea i would imagine there might be a tiny delay...but now you wil get the correct boost that the wg is set for since the ic loss wont be a factor
