No Fuel Management at 4psi and under...
I didn't think this should be in the fuel management because it is dependent on the boost psi not anything else really. Anyway, I was curious if for now, I could run say 4psi of boost without any fuel manangement upgrades (Uberdata, injectors, etc.) until I get the rest to bump it to 8psi-10psi? I don't see why not, but what's holding me back I think is my internal WG. However, it is adjustable. How adjustable I have no idea. So anyone think if I could set my WG to 4psi I would be alright? Thanks alot fellas! ;D

Re: No Fuel Management at 4psi and under...
Almost all stock fuel systems can manage 20% more power as a rule of thumb. Tell me what car, hp, and number of injectors and ill tell you if you are going to break anything.
Or wait ... here is the formula hp(at flywheel) x bsfc (.7) [bsfc = brake specific fuel consumption] number of injectors x duty cycle (.8 is safe) divide the hp at flywheel x bsfc by the number of injectors x the duty cycle .... that tells you the size of injectors you need, then match that up to stock numbers and you will know if it will work out ok.... if you dont understand this formula just give me the above info and ill let you know. Hope this helped. |

Most wastegates won't let you run that low of boost.

btw good luck with your map sensor trying to boost without check valves or something. |
Re: No Fuel Management at 4psi and under...
If your running 10psi without any fuel upgrades your going to burn stuff up pretty damn quick, i wasnt talking about fuel management. I was answering whether or not he needed new injectors, which he would and he needs a new fuel pump as well. If not then its not a stable turbo setup.
