Default No boost! help!

Hi everyone, i just finished installing my turbo but when i drive it my gauge never shows any boost at all. here's my setup

92 si with D16z6
14b turbo with hf mani
DSM 450's
Uberdata
Ford Probe Intercooler
Ford Probe BOV
Radiator hose charge pipes

When i drive i can hear the turbo spool up cause it makes like this high pitched sound. and i'm not sure if the BOV works because when the engine is idle, and i feel the BOV i can feel it sucking in air.....is that normal? When i'm driving and at high RPMs i can hear the BOV when i let off the throttle....its not super loud but i can hear it.

I checked all my hose clamps everything is super tight, i don't thiink i have a leak but i can't confirm that yet.

The turbo is internally wastegated and i have a couple of those carburator springs holding the flapper down.

When i'm driving and at WOT it gets to like -1 vacuum on my boost gauge and then when vtec hits it gets to -10.....i never see boost.

Does anyone have any ideas what i did wrong? thanks for the help!

u might have some really soft and your wastegate is opening all the way open. and your just letting air blow by and no pressure building up. maybe just a lil bit but not enough. i would say get a stiffer spring and see what happens.

but the spring is on reallly really tight i know for sure the spring is tighter than 8 lbs.....wouldn't that be enough to get some boost?

Where is the gauge tapped in to? Can you feel any boost?

Sorry to point out the obvious but it just sounds like you have a leak somewhere in your charge piping somewhere. Sounds like my car was performing when I forgot to plug up on of the unused vacuum t's that I routed to my bov and boost guage.

the springs is pulling together yah its holding the wastegate flapper the right way. I tapped my blow off valve and my boost gauge to the vacuum in front of the intake manifold. Its the PCV valve line. Is that okay?

well i just tried putting on a stronger spring. Now i can hear the turbo spool up more, so i'm assuming that means that its boosting more psi. But still i see no boost. So now i guess i do have a boost leak somewhere. any other ideas guys?
