no boost after 5000 rpm

so i have had my setup running good for about 2 days now. everything was fine untill today. it wont give me boost after 5000 rpm. it weird as hall. its not like its cutting fuel or a boost leak it just goes back to stock motor power and finishes out the rpm range. btw its a t25 on 15 pounds. hf mani, afc hack, p28 ecu in a 90 4d civic

15 lbs of boost on a afc hack,

that takes some serious cajones.

Ding ding ding...we have a winner. FWIW, 15psi is pretty high on an afc, might want to double check your fuel to make sure you're not too lean. :l

well this is how i tuned the car. i bought 3 sets of spark plugs. put one set it when t out and beat on the car. no problems accept the tip of the plug was white so i turned up the fuel and put the new set of p[lugs in. then went for another couple of pulls up to 4th gear and it got better. so i do it again and now its running a little rich but it ran fine untill saturday night when i really went out and beat on it. i would suspect some piston damage but it runs like a champ. even at adle. just gives up around 5k. idk. i was thinking ecu throwing map code but havent checked yet. keep the thoughts comming

you don't know how to plug tune, it's that simple.

well if you figure out that its not your fuel managment.. which is probbaly where i would start considering u are running a afc. But i had a very similar problem about 1 1/2 years ago and may sound weird but it was my head gasket.

here is a vid of what my car was doing at the time.
<object width="425" height="355"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/IaxXg5ZqjtM...</param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/IaxXg5ZqjtM&rel=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object>

i read in a magazine some guy describing the exact same thing mine was doing and he found out it was a head gasket. I changed mine and it never did it again.. may sound weird and i could explain it but it would take alot of explaining to do that.

That is NOT a good idea on how you tune, that's a good idea of how to turn your motor into a boat anchor. I've done extensive work with plug tuning and even have a couple threads on here about reading your plugs, and the tip is not where you look...you have to look down inside the well at the base of the porcelain. First thing you need to do is drop that turbo down to 6-8 psi, reset your cel (I know there is one as AFC's can only do about 10psi without tossing one and still keep a safe afr, otherwise you're way too lean), retard your dizzy a few degrees, and retune it with a wideband o2.
