You need to do some concession to be turbo.

I remove my A/C to and i'm sure i will be happy. :)

You can make a manifold and keep your A/C that what I'm doing.

I had to remove my A/C when I installed my turbo. WHen you do, you'll see you have so much more room to work with. Plus less drag on the motor without the A/C, plus your car is a little lighter.

I'm building a horseshoe style pipe of the Headers.... this way the turbo will sit around the same place that the stock airbox sits... this way i can keep the A/C and still have room for everything... right now it's just empty space there...

pimpcivic: that's what I've seen done before with the old CRX Cartech (Bell Engineering as in Corky Bell) kit...

used the stock 4-1 header, then a J-pipe came off of that putting it in the same area as the battery/airbox. Pretty damn cool actually, that's what I wanted to do originally.
Just trying to find some pics of the Cartech kit (next to impossible!)

a/c is heavy and lags engine anyway. If your trying to go fast, why have a restriction?

AC has it's moments when sitting in hot traffic and you are driving your lil' monster everyday to work! Myself it may not be the most economical way (maybe) but I'm using the Apexi kit for 92+ civics. You will be able to keep AC with that and also the Greddy kit which is a little smaller turbo. BTW to all the naysayers of the Apexi kit I have some great dyno #'s from one that's on a B18A and at 10 psi it was 236 hp and 228 torque at the wheels and that torque was at 4700. It will be perfect for the built ZC.

Re:no AC if i go turbo?

i'm not looking for speed or anything

my 92 hp 4dr is too weak for daily driving.. i just wanna bump it up to like what other cars are around you know... acceleration... overtaking... i can't do it in my civic now =*( and it lacks torque... 4dr with no torque is awfull... i can barely carry myself ... yet i'm suppose to carry 3-4 other people in my car
