nitrous + turbo = bad idea?

Default nitrous + turbo = bad idea?

im thinking of gettin a 25-30 shot becuase my turbo blows up top what else would i have to do to safely spary with my setup? i dont know too much about nitrous so i have alot of reading to do..but i thought ill ask you guys if im wasting my time :P

your going to put undue stress on the small turbo with nitrous up top. a bigger turbo and nitrous during the lag, that would be a better setup. not that what you want to do wont work, its just the other way would last longer.

yah i was thinking maybe when the car is at high speeds the turbo just suckes becuase its maxed out, and nitrous will just force it to spool harder....what can happen to the turbo if its pushed too hard?

why don't you just go with a bigger turbo to fix the lack of power up top..........that's what I'm doing

just use a boost cutoff switch for the nos. you can find them on ebay.
this way you can squeeze until the turbo spools and puts out x amount of boost.

that sound cool, i found something like that on ebay but my question is how does it work? how could it stop the turbo from spooling?

eh, i guess it would be alot cheaper & easier to just upgrade..probably wont happen for a while, but thats why thats why we call it a "project"
