I have a ntercooler sprayer that I've been thinking about turning into a single shot nitrous setup.
I snap off the fitting from the spray bar and now decide that I am gonna run it as a direct nitrous setup instead of cooler.
it has a small solenoid that was mounted on the bar. my real question is can I use this solenoid as the nitrous spray and buy a fuel solenoid, or do I need a different type of nitrous solenoid?

stop being so black, you dumped too much money into your rice rocket to go cheap on nitrous
get a nice legit solenoid, a nice distro block for fuel and nit, and make it clean

my next question is can I feed the fuel supply for the fuel solenoid from the return line off the FPR?
I know these are newb question but yes I am a newb when it comes to setting up my own nitrous system.

no doubt it will be clean, I just don't wanna waste money on a extra solenoid and it turned out to be the same one I have.
this wont be a direct port system it will only be a single wet shot.

The fuel solenoid has to have constant consistent fuel pressure. No, it can not run off the return. You can use your old nitrous solenoid for the single fogger setup, but you'll need a fuel solenoid, the wet fogger, etc. That kit you linked will work, but it's pricey IMO. FWIW I don't like NOS products, I prefer cold fusion, N-X express, or Edelbrock. You don't need a purge setup, that's for getting any air out of the lines for consistency in bracket racing. Most use it for show.

I have Edelbrock direct port and love it. Everything's high quality. If you don't know ---- about nitrous, read up on it before you go installing it. It can make reliable HP when setup properly. Key word: Properly.

That's what never made sense to me, because even on the feed side of the fuel system the pressure is constantly changing.

the link I posted have everything I needed, I wanna get nx but for something that will only be for backup power to keep up with someone who has more or the same power/setup as me I don't wanna go all out, plus refills are really expensive and hard to get here. so simple is what I am looking at.

Ideally you would have a 1:1 rising rate fuel pressure regulator for your fuel injectors. Then you measure base fuel pressure. This measurement is the value you will use to select the proper fuel jet. Say you measure 45PSI. When you floor the engine, fuel pressure will rise 1:1 as to maintain a 45PSI pressure differential between the engines intake and atmospheric pressure. This ensures the correct amount of fuel is metered with the nitrous.
