Hey whats up, i gots a question to ask you guys.. whats the ideal full boost rpm range that a .60/.63 T3 turbo will spool at on a D16 mini-me swap stock internals?? mine kept spooling full boost at 4500-5000... i'm thinking it should be around 3200-3500 but thats just my guess... a lot of my friends that are known to boost said my spool isn't right and my wastegate is prolly fucked.

i'm just wondering cuz i wanna get a Tial Wastegate and i wanna know if the turbo is just too big or if the wastegate is messed up.. let me know!

With a .63 housing I doubt you will see full bost by 3.5k...turbo of this size is going to be a bit laggy for sure. I'd switch it out for a .48 housing, it'll hit full boost at 3.5k for sure. I bought a 63/60 thinking it would be a good upgrade from my wrx turbo but was told it's a bit too laggy so I bought a .48 housing but haven't got around to swapping it yet.

i had that turbo on a z6 and it spooled at 5k.
so yours sounds about right.

I'm pretty sure it was the 2nd gen 300zx's that came with the t3s

2nd gen? the 84-87's? i dont think so. i had one it had a t3 flange but it wasnt a .60/.63. mine was like a .48/.42 something like that

Don't know of any 300ZX with a .60/.63 T3 but I do believed the 90-96 300ZX was running on Garret T25/T2.

are you sure..i had one and it wasnt that big. it said .48 on the exhaust side ehh i dont know
