nipple on compressor housing?
 
Ill post picks later but im sure you guys will know w/o. there is this little vacume fitting on the bottom side of the compressor housing. what is this for cause mine is block off with the old vacume tubing and bolt?

If your turbo is internally wastegated then that nipple is where you run the vacuum line from the wastegate.

More specifically it is simply a place that you can use for a vacuum/pressure scource for anything. Blocking it off with a bolt is ok, IMO drop the $1 on a brass fitting to block it off.

I personally have 2 vacuum nipples on the inlet housing, and one fitting on the compressor housing. I use it for my external WG.

yep. it is used for the wastegate. Best thing to do is get a brass fitting and block it off. I used a vaccum manifold on teh brake booster line for my boost controller and gauge etc.

awesome thanks for the info. thats gonna make running vacume to my soon to be external wastegate a breeze.
