I was looking at pics of turboed hondas and noticed that sometimes the turbo is on the right side and somtimes is on the left. Is that because of the way they made they adapotr plate or the way turbo is set up. Sorry for long post

 

it depends on alot of things, the make/model of the turbo, what turbo mani (or adapter plate) ac or no a/c clearance and where you want your exhaust to go and wastegate options (internalvs external) you know crap like that, what car its gonna go on with what engine... lots of reasons

 

agreed. Way too many T3 turbos floating out there. It's hard to get a constant product when there were so many variations in those things... when the variable of a custom exhaust manifold is entered into the mix, that will also vary the outcomes of the setups you are viewing.
